Paired BiBO Crystals

Paired BiBO Crystals
Paired BiBO Crystals Paired BiBO Crystals

Two identical Type I SPDC crystals mounted with one crystal rotated by 90o
about the axis normal to the crystal face. Two principal axes aligned in
   perpendicular planes.
Optically contacted structure with no optical cement in the beam path.
Standard half opening angle between signal/idler: 3o
Pump wavelength range: 350 - 800 nm.

 Common pumps:
   ~ 390 - 415 nm (Diode lasers, Ti:Sapphire lasers)
   ~ 351 - 355 nm (THG of Nd: lasers)
Common aperture size: 5x5 mm or 8x8 mm. OD 1" mounted.

Aplication Example:

Paired BiBO crystals for an ultrabright polarization-entangled photon source
