CaF2 (Calcium Fluoride) Windows

CaF2 is a cubic crystal with a good transmission from 130 nm to 10 μm and has a has widespread applications in the ultraviolet and infrared spectra. CaF2 is slightly soluble in water and is susceptible to thermal shock, therefore it has to be used in a dry environment and with a small temperature change.
