BBO Crystal Handling

BBO has a low susceptibility to the moisture. The user is advised to provide dry conditions for both use and storage of BBO crystals. BBO is relatively soft and therefore requires precautions to protect the polished surfaces. 

When doing angular tuned phase matching, keep in mind that the acceptance angle of BBO is small and thus a fine adjustment may be needed to maximize the conversion efficiency.
