Glan-Thompson Beam Splitters

Glan-Thompson Beam Splitters
Glan-Thompson Beam Splitters Glan-Thompson Beam Splitters Glan-Thompson Beam Splitters

Materials: Calcite or alpha-BBO single crystal.
 Optically cemented structure.
s-pol beam transmits while p-pol light
deflects and exits through a side face.
High extinction ratio (>100,000:1) over a large wavelength range.

Both output beams are at normal incident on the corresponding output face.
Large splitting angle between the two orthogonally polarized beams:
  45
o for Calcite, 61o for α-BBO.
Suitable for low and medium power applications.
Housing OD: 1", 30mm, 1.5" (38.1mm) or 2" (50.8mm).
