Glan-Thompson Beam Splitters

Materials: Calcite, or a-BBO crystal.
Optically
cemented structure.
High extinction ratio ( > 100,000:1 ) over an extremely
  large range of wavelength.
Large splitting angle between the two orthogonally
  polarized beams ( 45
o for Calcite, 60o for α-BBO).
Both output beams are at normal incident with the
  corresponding output face.
Suitable for low and medium power applications.
