Material: High grade quartz crystals.
Designed to give a retardation of the exact fraction of a wavelengh.
Made of an extremely thin (20~100μm) single crystal plate with NO substrate.
  (Single plates cemented on a UVFS substrate available upon request)
All optical surfaces AR coated.
Optically robust with a high damage threshold.
Large wavelength and temperature bandwidths.
Suitable for high power broadband applications.
Two plate sizes available:
       diameter 15 mm, mounted in OD 1" holder  and
       diameter  1" (25.4 mm),  mounted in OD 30 mm holder

Mount adaptors available (OD 30 mm--OD 2").

Mount

True zero-order waveplates are extremely thin (< 100 µm) and always mounted in an OD 1" ( 25.4 mm ) or OD 30.0 mm anodized aluminum (Al) holder.
